Thatchcombe B&B - Wantage

I have stayed here many times and will definitely return. Everything was very good during our 2-night stay. the B&B is located in a nice spot on the Downs.

really enjoyed the double room i had with fantastic views as well as even 2 separate bathrooms. the breakfast was delicious and particularly nice with real coffee and jams, for example and attention to detail.

Everything was very good, beautiful location so close to within walking distance of Wantage, fabulous gardens, and the Downs, just perfect experience.

Enjoyed a fantastic 3-night stay here! the breakfast every morning was top-notch - they served up delicious fresh fruits, honey, and cheese 🍯🧀.

Well-furnished and pretty, with its own bathroom. the spot is amazing and convenient, close to the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden within walking distance 😊.

Our double room was spacious and had two separate bathrooms.

I've been here before and it's always a 10/10 experience; I highly recommend it to everyone.

The room had everything we could possibly need and more, with comfortable furnishings, a luxurious bathroom, and even a fridge stocked with juice and milk. The view from our window was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful gardens filled with colorful flowers and peaceful streams. The continental breakfast served on our terrace was a delight, and the hosts Astrid and Tony were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We felt truly pampered and can't wait to return to this idyllic hidden gem. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Great spot on the Downs with breathtaking views. the room we snagged was lovely and spotless, and had amazing views. Bonus: 2 bathrooms, which was a unexpected and handy surprise! 🌄

The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, with thoughtfully chosen decor. The hosts were friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of high-quality food and real coffee. The hotel facilities were excellent, and there were also local shops and restaurants within walking distance. the staff, cleanliness, location, and breakfast were all superb.
